The Hall of Names at Yad Vashem is the Jewish People’s memorial to each and every Jew who perished in the Shoah. The conical structure is ten metres high and displays 600 photographs and fragments of Pages of Testimony, representing only a fraction of the six million Jewish people who were murdered during WW2. With kind permission from Yad Vashem I was able lay out my carbon tripod legs to the lowest position and with the use of an 11-24mm rectilinear lens, document the memorial structure from an extremely wide perspective. A fine-art print at two metres wide will illustrate the detail with surprising clarity.
