There is a belief that those who are buried on the Mount of Olives will be the first to be resurrected when Melech HaMoshiach returns. Elijah the Prophet will blow the shofar on the Mount of Olives to declare the Day of the Resurrection of the Dead. In my composition I emphasised the perspective from the graves of the Jewish Cemetery that overlooks the Temple Mount in Jerusalem with warm winter light enhancing the Jewish Quarter. I have appropriately named the photograph ‘Arise!’
