At around 3pm during the month of December, sunlight floods the Zion Gate entrance. I spent three days waiting at this particular time and was extremely fortunate for this dignified Haredi man wearing his Shtreimel hat to walk through my frame. Importantly, he is unrecognizable and his stride is perfect as he emerges into the light. Unless an image such as this one is rehearsed one could wait years for such timing and heavenly generosity. That there was no one else in the frame adds to its simplicity and sophistication.
